Part 21: Turn 24 - 11th December 1943
This time we hold.
Losses remain constant.
The RAF spread their damage.
While the 8th hammer the plane factories.
The Panzers hold out through several attacks.
Another brigade of grenadiers give up.
The Division holding Terracina is overwhelmed, adding another port to aid my supply flow.
It takes a lot more effort to force a retreat this time.
The last brigade of Panzergrenadiers retreat.
The invasion units are back in Britain, so time to move them to their jump off points.
Flaws in my plan arrive when the planners inform me these are the only areas suitable for landings in the north terms like jagged rocks sheer cliffs and deathtrap are thrown around.
Amsterdam has the ports, but fighting out of the marshes could be, interesting.
Even I'm not stupid enough to hit Calais.
There is boring old Normandy, maybe with something more around Cherbourg. *its worrying how few place names my spellchecker has....
I could also go for France's Brest.
Hmm, choices.
Woops! nearly forgot the casualties!
